Psycho Educational Evaluations of Children and Adolescents

  • Comprehensive and integrated battery to assess potential learning disabilities/ADHD as well as cognitive, academic and social/emotional functioning
  • Full family, social and developmental history obtained
  • Collaboration with schools and pediatricians if desired
  • In-school observation if possible
  • Thorough feedback session with caregivers and child to explain information and to provide clear and easily understood  answers to questions.
  • Specific, useful and reasonable recommendations are provided to help at home and at school/other environments
  • Each evaluation is tailored and individualized to provide the most helpful and productive information
  • Optional meetings with counselors, teachers and other relevant school personnel are offered to explain findings and recommendations/strategies to help support success

Support through your Divorce
Both doctors are trained in Collaborative Family Practice to assist divorcing families. They have experience working with children ages 3 and older. They are able to provide practical, productive and effective guidance to divorcing families in order to:

  • Provide a safe place to work through grief and confusion
  • Help individuals develop coping strategies through the separation process
  • Develop healthy co-parenting relationships
  • Utilize a child-first perspective in communications, decision-making and goal-setting
  • Provide applicable coping-skills strategies to help children through the family transition

Forensic Evaluations to explore allegations of child sexual abuse

Court Ordered Child Custody Evaluations, Reunification Therapy, Co-Parenting Counseling, Parent Coordination

Clinical Supervision towards Licensure

Consultation on criminal  cases involving child sexual abuse and on civil cases involving injury/trauma
